Product details
Lead core is a braided leader with a thin lead wire running through the middle. The weight pins the end of the line to the lakebed so fish are less likely to spook. Carp anglers use it to make leaders in front of the rig. Jwell Fishing supplies it on 10 m and 20 m spools and in bulk to carp tackle distributors and private-label brands.
Construction
The line is 12 high-strength braided strands around a lead center. The braid can be opened up so the lead can be pulled out and the ends spliced into loops with a splicing needle.
Strengths and colors
We make 20, 25, 35, 45, 55 and 60 lb. Retail spools are 10 m or 20 m; bulk lengths go up to 2000 m for 20–45 lb and 1000 m for 55–60 lb. The colors are black, green-black, camo brown and camo green, chosen to blend with weed, silt and gravel.
